Search and Rescue Staking Game

Competitive Staking Rewards

Overview

The Search and Rescue Game is a mobile game where people can combine characters and a minimum of 3 item skins to compete for rewards.

The game is designed for players to experiment and find out which combination of items work best with each Character. Players also combine equipped characters into a team of 3, discovering synergies to explore. Every season, a specific combination of equipment on a particular Character may unlock bonuses that enhance your team's performance.

The Search and Rescue Game is created to encourage our community to compete for the distribution of our rewards and act as a sink for previously activated Characters and excess item skins. The game aims to be fun and collaborative, with the community expected to build tools, track the performance of their teams, and devise an optimal strategy before the end of the season!

This will serve as an alternative to traditional staking. No party can simply buy up NFTs to stake for Zombie Token ($ZT). All rewards will depend on how you stake your NFTs and require someone, preferably a gamer, who is keen to unravel the gamification.

Gameplay

First, you stake your Character(s) and a minimum of 3 NFT equipment items per character. Once staked, your Characters will automatically search for NFTs, $ZT, and valuables, increasing their score on the leaderboard. The search is automatic, requiring no user interaction. You can watch events unfold in the console over hours and days.

Nothing Happened...

Often, your Characters will not find anything, encountering random events like kicking back with a beer or finding a toy bunny.

Found Loot!

During the search, your Character can find:

  • NFTs - The most sought-after reward!

  • Food - Extends survival

  • Water - Also crucial for survival

  • Weapons - Useful against bosses, zombies, and players

  • Medicine - For healing

  • Jewelry - Earns you Search Points

  • Junk - Equivalent to "nothing happenedā€.

Zombie Encounter

Your team will encounter zombies, leading to battles. This may deplete health and slow down your NFT search. Team members can assist each other in these events.

Bosses!

The most anticipated event - encountering a Boss guarantees an NFT drop. However, winning against a boss is unlikely without a full team.

Gameplay Cost

Last Remains aims for a sustainable economy. In the Search and Rescue Game, Characters can participate indefinitely, but equipment items have a limited lifetime and consume durability points for each action and can break during this game.

Leaderboard Rewards

Leaderboards, based on Search Points accumulated from collectibles found by your team, determine rewards. Top players also win NFT rewards.

What Can You Stake?

NFT Characters and NFT equipment items can be staked together. Each Character has eight equipment skin slots, similar to the main game:

  • Hat

  • Mask

  • Shirt

  • Jacket

  • Hands

  • Pants

  • Shoes

  • Backpack

You can stake up to three Characters as a team. With eight items each, that's 24 equipment skins in total! Characters will have seasonal "Search and Rescue" traits,

What Will Change Between Seasons?

We will aim to expand the meta of the game without forcing the community to have to buy and sell new items each season. Although, maximizing your potential will require you to acquire the best items for the given seasonā€™s meta. Passive players will still be able to compete with previous meta items and characters.

  • Beneficial items for characters

  • Search and Rescue traits

  • New dynamic features

What Rewards Should I Expect to Win?

Season 0's prize pool will have 15,000,000 $ZT, with no cap on NFT rewards. The odds for Seasons 0 and 1 are designed so that every character staked with a semi-optimal configuration of three equipment skins will have about 30 NFTs by the game launch in December 2023, excluding the NFTs reinvested into the game.

When Is the First Season?

The first season is expected to start in 2024.
